Case study for
Princess Emma
WordPress Website Redesign
Introduction
The client approached me with a request for a new website that would be both easy to update and more opulent in design.
Project Overview
The client aimed to create a visually engaging online presence that would captivate visitors. They wanted to move away from a traditional gallery format, opting instead to use images directly on the pages to effectively showcase their rates and highlight charter cruise packages. This approach was intended to provide straightforward access to essential information while enhancing the overall aesthetic of the website.

My Role
My role was to guide the client in developing an effective website that aligned with their brand identity and corporate image (CI). I provided insights on best practices for showcasing their offerings while ensuring the design was visually appealing. Additionally, I worked to incorporate essential information that would help visitors quickly access everything they needed at a glance, enhancing the overall user experience.
Planning & Research
The planning phase centered on determining how to effectively add enough sections to each page without creating clutter. This involved carefully considering layout options to maintain visual appeal and usability. In my research, I analyzed competitor websites and the parent brand, Princess Emma Yachts, to identify successful design elements and strategies that could be leveraged to enhance the new site’s overall aesthetic and functionality.
