About the Client

Bruno Chirange is the owner and operator of BBC Movers, a moving company based in the Western Cape. They offer both local and long-distance moving services for furniture and house contents. Despite having a small team, BBC Movers goes the extra mile to accommodate clients looking to move, ensuring personalized and reliable service.

Introduction

The project entailed creating a simple, single-page website with a professional look to showcase BBC Movers’ services for furniture and office removals, small loads, and house moves in the Western Cape.

Project Overview

BBC Movers needed a website to showcase their services for furniture and office removals, including small loads and house moves in the Western Cape. The goal was to create a professional yet approachable online presence that would clearly communicate their services and make it easy for potential customers to get in touch.

My Role

I played a key role in shaping the entire BBC Movers online presence, from designing a new logo and mini brand guide to creating a professional, single-page website. I incorporated a 3D render of their removal truck, crafted all the website content, collaborated on defining their pricing structure, and handled the full build of the WordPress site. Additionally, I helped them get listed on Google My Business, refined their bio, updated their Bark profile, advised on inventory lists for clients, and set up Google Sheets for managing quotes and invoices.

Challenges

Challenges included clarifying the services offered, understanding what had already been done, and additional back-and-forth for training and helping the client take control of their new online presence.

Planning & Research

Planning and research involved discussing BBC Movers' services in detail with the client, analysing offerings from other moving companies, and conducting keyword research to improve organic traffic potential.
